Our Story
Founded by Samantha Herron in 2021, Mon Été Studio is a collection of *fun*and*flirty*, colorful beaded jewelry, handmade in Brooklyn, New York.
The brand offers high-quality jewelry made from genuine freshwater baroque pearls, gemstones, and colorful beads, with 14k gold-filled hardware including magnetic clasps.
Best described as both luxurious and playful, items range from casual, everyday pieces to those that are more sophisticated and timeless. The designs aim to celebrate the unique characteristics of natural gemstones – particularly the beautiful imperfections of freshwater pearls, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Mon Été means "My Summer" in French, so you can bring some warmth and brightness anywhere you go.

Our Materials
Gold Filled
“Gold-filled” is a USA industry standard that legally requires 1/20th, or 5% pure gold by weight. Unlike gold-plating, it’s a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14k gold with extreme heat over a base metal, such as jeweler’s brass, resulting in a quality real gold product.
It is more durable than solid 18k gold jewelry which is much softer and wears out easily, so in addition to being less expensive, gold-filled pieces look shiny and new even after decades of wear. With a little care, gold-filled jewelry can stay beautiful for a lifetime.
Baroque Pearls
Baroque pearls are some of the most fascinating organic gems available on the jewelry market. Baroque refers to all pearls that aren’t perfect spheres. In other words, if it isn’t perfectly round, it is considered a baroque pearl.
These imperfections result in pearls of varied and irregular shapes and sizes, sometimes with uneven surfaces and often exhibiting beautiful luster and a range of colors, with each pearl being completely unique from the next.
Magnetic Clasps
The majority of pieces are made with 14k gold-gilled magnetic clasps, making them incredibly easy to take on and off.
Care Instructions
The best care you can give your pieces is to clean them gently with water, mild soap, and a soft cloth when needed (an eyeglass cleaner works perfectly for this).
We recommend removing your jewelry prior to swimming in the ocean or pool, as the saltwater and chlorine can cause damage and tarnishing. Also, try and avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower or applying hairspray, lotion, or perfume once your pieces are on your body as these products can contain harsh chemicals that can further damage your jewelry.
To avoid scratching, breakage and tarnishing, keep jewelry away from direct sunlight and store it in the soft cotton pouch provided with your order.
Returns & Shipping
Shipping
As all pieces are handmade to order, please allow 1-2 weeks for shipping. Please note all pieces are hand-made and shipped from the United States.
We can amend the address as long as the package has not left our facility, but unfortunately, we cannot reroute a package once it has shipped.
We do not refund for packages that are; lost in transit, stolen or un-retrieved that have been confirmed as delivered.
Returns & Exchanges
We are happy to offer you an exchange or return within 14 days of your purchase. Jewelry must be returned to us in perfect condition, unworn and unused, and in the original packaging in order for us to process an exchange or return
Please note, that we do not cover shipping costs for returned or exchanged orders.
We are also happy to repair most manufacturing faults. Please e-mail an image of your damaged jewelry to discuss possible options. If you would like to begin this process, please e-mail monetestudionyc@gmail.com with your request.
Upon receipt of items, the credit or debit card originally used for the purchase will be credited with the cost of the goods minus the delivery charges (exceptions may apply). We will process your refund within 48 hours of receipt. Your credit card company may take 4-7 working days to credit your account.
